Light + Builfing 2012
Light+Building is the world’s biggest event for the lighting market.
Over 1,500 manufacturers present the entire spectrum of lighting technology at the same time and place, e.g., design luminaires in a variety of styles – from modern to classic –, technical luminaires and lamps of all kinds and for all applications, as well as a large selection of lighting components and accessories. Verbatim to Showcase Halogen Replacement Spotlights and OLED Modules at Light + Building   

Verbatim will unveil a set of high-performance halogen replacement LED spotlights at Light + Building 2012. Both the MR16 GU5.3 with 450 lumens output and the dimmable PAR16 GU10, producing 230 lumens, deliver attention-grabbing accent-lighting in shops, restaurants or hotels to set mood, draw focus or add brightness.


David Morgan Associates Switches on to Light + Building 2012  

David Morgan Associates (DMA), the award winning luminaire design consultancy, will present the new Radiant 3D LED Flex 40 linear system at Light + Building 2012 – Hall 4.2, Stand A16. This is the second time that the company has exhibited at the Light + Building Show.

KNX City at Light+Building 2012         

In 2012 KNX will push the limits and demonstrate excellence: the KNX Association presents itself larger than ever before at light+building 2012. The latest technologies and applications for the worldwide standard in home and building automation are shown at four different stands.


Discover the Brand New General Lighting LED Range from ETAP 

At light+building 2012, ETAP will present a completely new general lighting LED range. It concerns 5 series of LED luminaires which all excel in lighting comfort and energy efficiency, a key theme of the two-yearly international trade fair. ETAP will also present an emergency lighting concept with OLEDS.


OSRAM OSRAM Presents New Lighting Perspectives at Light+Building     

At this year’s Light+Building Preview, OSRAM introduced a selected range of new products which will be shown at the largest and most important trade fair of the lighting industry: the first LED-substitute for the 75W-light bulb in Europe; its first LED-module in accordance with Zhaga standards; the sure course to the world of LED-street lighting as well as the latest generation of lighting management systems.


Light+Building 2012 Discusses Energy-efficient Street Lighting

The increasing cost of energy and maintenance, together with more stringent legal regulation in respect of climate protection, such as the European Directive 2009/125/EC "Eco-design Requirements for Energy-related Products" (ErP), are galvanising many community consumers in Germany and Europe into action, thus obliging them to renew their lighting installations, which often date back as far as the 1960s..


Ceravision at Light + Building 2012

The Ceravision stand at Light + Building will feature the company’s new Alvara range of High Bay luminaires which reduce the energy consumption of high bay lighting installations by up to 75% when compared to conventional high bay lighting using HID lamps.


Zhaga's Debut at Light+Building 2012       

The international lighting industry has so far lacked clear guidelines to ensure the interchangeability of LED modules made by different manufacturers. With Zhaga that is now changing.


Venture Lighting at Light + Building    

Making its debut at the show will be the SPC (Super PulseStart Ceramic) colour lamp.  Offering excellent lumen output, colour and life, the SPC is available in 210W and 315W options and can provide either a warm white light or crisp cool illumination.
