Discover the Brand New General Lighting LED Range from ETAP

At light+building 2012, ETAP will present a completely new general lighting LED range. It concerns 5 series of LED luminaires which all excel in lighting comfort and energy efficiency, a key theme of the two-yearly international trade fair. ETAP will also present an emergency lighting concept with OLEDS.

LED+LENSTM: energy-efficient and comfortable
For the new series, ETAP developed the innovative LED+LENS™ technology, where the combination of high-power LEDS with individual lenses guarantees optimum lighting of the most diverse environments: offices, shops, reception areas, schools, hospitals, architectural interiors, warehouses, industrial workplaces and refrigerated areas. The specially designed lenses provide optimum shielding of the bright luminances without significantly affecting efficiency. Other advantages of this technology: even more economical luminaires with optimal directing and spreading of LED light (without unwanted diffused lighting), controlled luminances, lower installed power, high comfort, long life expectancy and practically no maintenance.

Five new series
ETAP will present as many as 5 new LED series, based on the LED+LENS™ technology at light+building: the U7 recessed luminaires, the R7 rod and surface-mounted luminaires, the architectural Kardó 60 line and the E7 series for large areas. The ranges are very versatile, easy to install and maintain and can be integrated with lighting control systems such as daylight and movement detection without any problem. Together with the renewed E1 series they complete the ETAP general lighting LED range. The new LED range not only stands for energy-efficiency and comfort, but also unique design.

Emergency lighting with OLED
Since 2009, ETAP only develops emergency lighting luminaires with LEDs. We are currently also experimenting with organic LEDs (OLED). These light sources are wafer-thin films, the surface of which spreads a soft and diffuse light. They are applied to glass or another transparent material. ETAP will present its first emergency lighting concept with OLED at light+building.
